Bound
A film by Isaac Hirotsu Woofter
55B is collaborating with filmmaker Isaac Hirotsu Woofter @isaacwoofter as a marketing and partnerships producer for BOUND. This award-winning film centers on a young woman who escapes an unstable home in order to escape her drug dealing abusive stepfather. A young introvert, she flees to NYC and after successfully reinventing herself, she realizes she must confront her dark past to truly be free. It's a gripping film that sustains dramatic tension from beginning to end!
Our first partner is Breaking the Silence Against Domestic Violence, a national organization supporting individuals who are experiencing domestic violence. In November 2024, a representative joined us at the first annual Meliora International Film Festival @meliorafilmfest, dedicated to making the world a better place through film.
The next screening of BOUND will be part of The Beacon Film Society’s spring programming in May 2025.
