CURRENT PROJECTS

55B
produces live arts
& cultural events.

Named after the region of the brain that is activated when we hear stories, 55B cultivates new and multidisciplinary projects that expand our thinking.

Led by live arts producer Jenny Tibbels, 55B partners directly with artists, developing a strategic context in which a production or event can thrive, synergizing connections that amplify a story and its impact.

  • The Horse of Jenin

  • Each summer in the Berkshires we come together to create a temporary society with premier performances, intimate happenings, and immersive experiences. We bring together audience members, emerging and professional artists working in all art forms, and our team, to collaboratively champion freedom of expression, expand the definition of theatre and advance its essential role in the world.

Over the last 70 years, more than 75 works have transferred from the Festival to theatres and screens around the world. Today, Williamstown Theatre Festival continues to be a fertile, creative hothouse for writers, directors, actors, designers, and theatre professionals of all backgrounds.

TESTIMONIALS

Jenny is a radical, caring, thoughtful producer - centering justice and liberation in all her work. This is not only apparent through the projects she produces and collaborations she engages with, but felt through the way she engages in all interactions. There isn't a moment in working with Jenny that her collaborators and clients don't feel a sense of care, presence as well as profound commitment and dedication to her craft and collaborators. She also always goes above and beyond to bring vision into manifestation, moving between the bird's eye view and the smallest details of the event or production with ease and expertise.”

— Noelle Ghoussaini, Co-Producer • The Strength in Us

“Jenny invests in the full, authentic development of the artists and art projects she represents. She has been a tremendous ally for our company's audience engagement, as well as its continued outreach initiatives. I have complete trust in Jenny, her people and technical skills in communication, and her facilitation as an arts producer.”

— Danielle Russo, Artistic Director • Danielle Russo Performance Project

“Whenever I'm creating something impossible and new, Jenny is among the very first people I call. She's been an asset to me on several big projects, providing arts production, outreach support, and operations glue with remarkable skill and grace. If you need someone 5-star, look no further.”
